Data we collect
From candidates: name, date of birth, nationality, contact details, passport and identity document data, photographs, video introductions, CV and work history, qualifications and trade certificates, language level, test results, and information required for travel and accommodation. From employers: contact details of the individuals we deal with, and the company information needed to prepare authorisation files. From website visitors: technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, and pages viewed.
Special category and criminal record data
Work authorisation and employment in Romania require documents that reveal health information, such as medical fitness certificates, and information relating to criminal convictions, such as police clearance certificates. We process these only where the law governing employment and immigration requires or permits it, and only to the extent necessary. We do not use them for any other purpose.
Why we process it
To take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform that contract. To comply with legal obligations, including those under Romanian employment and immigration legislation and the record keeping and notification duties placed on placement agencies and employers. On the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time, for optional items such as a video introduction or marketing communications. And on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our services.
Who we share it with
Prospective and actual employers, for the purpose of assessing and hiring you. Public authorities, including the National Employment Agency, the General Inspectorate for Immigration, the Labour Inspectorate, consulates and the WorkinRomania.gov.ro platform. Our partner agencies in the country of origin. Service providers acting on our instructions, such as IT hosting, payroll, translation and travel. Professional advisers, and any authority to whom disclosure is legally required.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Recruitment from countries outside the EEA means personal data is sometimes transferred to or received from those countries. Where this happens we rely on the safeguards permitted by the GDPR, in particular standard contractual clauses, or on the specific derogations that apply to the performance of a contract concluded in your interest.
How long we keep it
Candidate files are kept for the duration of the process and afterwards for the periods required by employment, tax and immigration law. Where you are not placed, we keep your profile for 24 months so that we can contact you about suitable openings, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Accounting records are kept for the period required by Romanian law.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Write to office@tayeverest.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access control, encrypted transmission and restricted internal access to identity and medical documents. Please do not send identity documents by unsecured channels when a secure upload is available.
Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes or the law requires it. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
